REHAU is another leading name in the industry and are well known for the high quality of their uPVC window frames and doors. Their extensive range includes casement, bay and uPVC sash windows, each available in a wide range of colours and finishes.
Offering much more than just a view of outside, REHAU uPVC windows provide superior noise and thermal insulation, and can be individually tailored to suit any home.
uPVC casement window
Casement windows are the most popular design of PVC window in the UK, are extremely versatile and suit many different styles of property.
Although quite simple in their most basic form, casement windows can nonetheless feature fixed panes, top opening fanlights and side opening lights to create an almost limitless range of options. Additions such as decorative glass, Georgian bars, arched head inserts and sash horns ensure that you’ll have no trouble finding the perfect combination to compliment your home and personality. And things have moved on since the days when uPVC windows and doors only came in white: our VEKA and REHAU uPVC casement windows are available in a staggering range of colours and natural finishes.
uPVC bay window
uPVC bay windows are created using casement windows connected using structural elements such as pole assemblies or corner posts, or in some cases your property may already have these structural elements in situ in the form of masonry pillars.
An elegant feature that will enhance the exterior of any property, inside they create a sense of space and allow more light to enter the home. uPVC casement windows used in a bay configuration provide enhanced noise reduction, security and energy efficiency – in fact all our VEKA and REHAU windows are capable of achieving an A rating, dependent on choice of glazing.
uPVC sash windows
Both VEKA and REHAU have consulted with conservation bodies when designing their uPVC sash windows, ensuring that these profiles are suited for use in conservation areas and on heritage properties. VEKA’s innovative FlushSash and SmartSash designs, along with REHAU’s Heritage system, have each been carefully designed to maximise the benefits of uPVC construction while being aesthetically as close to the timber equivalent as possible.
Like our casement window options, uPVC sash windows from CGS are available in a number of different colours and natural finishes, and can accommodate clip-on Georgian bars.
uPVC tilt and turn windows
Tilt and turn windows are an energy efficient, stylish and versatile solution that suits modern properties. Capable of tilting inwards it’s possible to ventilate your home without compromising on security, and of course these windows also open outwards where there’s space outside to accommodate it. The versatility doesn’t stop there: our uPVC tilt and turn windows are available in a wide range of colours and natural wood finishes, allowing you to customise your windows to suit your home.
ScreenLine® integral blinds
We offer a wide range of stylish, maintenance-free Venetian and pleated integral blind systems that are compatible with many of our windows and doors, including French, sliding (as below) and bi-fold doors.
An integral blind system is where the blinds themselves are positioned inside the sealed double glazed unit, ensuring they remain clean and undamaged. Available in various different colours, these Italian-designed blinds can be operated manually or using a cordless remote. There’s even a solar-powered option that’s an ideal compromise if it’s not practical to hard-wire the system into your domestic electricity supply.
